Critterpix Studios Moves To Secure Hollywood Distribution Deal

New 3D CG feature animation studio, CritterPix Studios, located in San Rafael, California, has secured representation of Hollywood heavyweight attorneys, Jake Bloom, of Bloom, Hergott and Diemer, and also that of Fred Bernstein of Manatt, Philips and Phelps, to land a distribution deal with a studio for CritterPixs first feature project.

CritterPix Studios ceo Kelly A. Williamson said Bloom represents some of the biggest stars in Hollywood and Bernstein was the president of Columbia/Tri Star. Together, Jake and Fred are one of the most powerful representation teams in Hollywood, he said.

Williamson continued, We have a wonderful script in OLLIE THE OTTER, based on the well regarded childrens novel of the same title. an all-star animation team in place to include long time producer Gary Goldman and wunderkind director Ricardo Curtis.

Williamson boasts having a controlled cost model enabling CritterPix to make a great 3D CG movie for $25M instead of $100M+. Better yet, the studio doesnt have to put up a dime. We will raise 100% of all the $25M production money. We have access to an additional $25M plus P & A (prints and advertising), also.
