Sue Shakespeare, president of Creative Capers announced that Danica Zimmerman has joined the animation and design studio as vice president of development. In her new role, Zimmerman will oversee development of live-action and animated projects for both television and film. Prior to joining Creative Capers, Zimmerman most recently was vice president of development for Film Roman. While at Film Roman, Zimmerman oversaw series TV development and was instrumental in expanding Film Roman's advertising department. According to Shakespeare, "We are thrilled that Danica has joined our team. Our studio is ready to take the jump to the next level, and Danica is going to be a big part of making that happen." Zimmerman commented, "Creative Capers is one of the best kept secrets in Hollywood. Exposing their remarkable original properties to the entertainment community is going to be an exciting and rewarding endeavor!" Prior to Film Roman, Zimmerman worked at the Fox Kids Network where she supervised the production of over 150 half-hours of programming, including CASPER and THE TICK. Before making the transition into television, Zimmerman was involved in feature film development at Universal Studios where she assisted on such films as Spike Lee's CLOCKERS and THE AIR UP THERE starring Kevin Bacon.
