Former Legendary Entertainment production executive most recently managed 3D conversions of ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Venom.’
CoSA VFX has announced the appointment of Stephanie Winslow as the company’s new executive producer. Winslow brings her extensive industry experience and business development, VFX and post-production knowledge to the studio, where she’ll work both with new and existing clients.
After graduating magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University and earning her masters at Indiana University, Bloomington made her way to Los Angeles, starting her career at one of LA's oldest talent agencies, where she supported the career development of top talent before shifting her attention to focus on film production at Legendary Entertainment.
At Legendary, Winslow worked closely with the company's then-president of production, overseeing physical production, VFX and post. While there, she was promoted to director of production, playing a vital role in various aspects of pre-production, production, VFX and post, working on successful films including Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight and Inception, Zack Snyder's Watchmen, Ben Affleck's The Town and Todd Phillips' Hangover comedy franchise.
While at Legendary, Winslow’s interest in VFX and 3D conversion led to her promotion as VP of business development and executive producer. She became the face of the company's Los Angeles office, helping negotiate deals and cultivating relationships with senior level executives at multiple studios. After leaving Legendary, prior to joining CoSA, Winslow returned to her production roots, working as a freelance stereo producer and managing the 3D conversion of films such as Sony's Pixels and Venom, Legendary's Warcraft, and Warner Bros./DC Entertainment's Suicide Squad.
