Award-winning post house Company 3 announced that internationally acclaimed colorist Sofie Borup has joined the growing team at Company 3 New York. Borup has been based at the Santa Monica, CA. facility since moving to the US from Denmark. Working out of Copenhagen, Stockholm, Berlin and Mexico City, she has colored major commercials for Audi, Lexus, Volvo, Nike, Firestone, BLK DNM, RedBull and many other top-tier commercial clients. She has also brought her creative eye to a number of music videos for artists including James Blake, MGMT, Capital Cities, Aloe Blacc, Feist, 1975, David Byrne and Fever Ray. And she has colored an impressive list of feature films, including Infinitely Polar Bear, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival to great acclaim.

"Sofie's work has been top-notch and we are very excited to see her join the growing team in New York," says Company 3 President Stefan Sonnenfeld.

Borup, originally from Denmark, has honed her craft at major post houses throughout the globe and she brings a wealth of technical expertise and a solid background in visual effects to every color session.

Moving to New York is the realization of both a professional and personal dream of Borup's. "I love New York and I've always wanted to one day live and work here," she says. "There is so much exciting work happening in New York these days and I really look forward to being part of that."

Borup will continue to be available to work remotely with clients at Company 3's locations in Santa Monica, Atlanta and London and throughout the world with any of the 26 Company 3 "virtual outposts."
