Comedy Central Releases Trailer for ‘Moonbeam City’

The Moonbeam City police fight crime the only way they know how: in style.

Comedy Central has released the first trailer for Moonbeam City, the animated series set in the world of gritty, sex-heavy '80s cop movies.

Set to debut in 2015, the series pays homage to iconic artist Patrick Nagel, and stars Rob Lowe as the voice of Dazzle Novak, a handsome but dumb undercover cop who isn’t afraid to be on the wrong side of the law. Elizabeth Banks voices Novak’s boss, police chief Pizzaz Miller, and Will Forte voices rookie cop Rad Cunningham.

Moonbeam City will be Comedy Central's fourth current animated show after South ParkBrickleberry, and TripTank.
