'Coco' Adds ACE, ADG Trophies to its Honors Roll

Awards recognize contributions of Steve Bloom and Harley Jessup to the hit Pixar movie.

Pixar's 'Coco' won the animated feature awards from the Art Directors Guild and American Cinema Editors.

Pixar’s Coco continues its awards-season dominance, taking home the prizes for animated feature from the Art Directors Guild and the American Cinema Editors.

Steve Bloom received the Eddie at the 68th annual ACE Eddie Awards, held Jan. 26 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. The other nominees were Claire Dodgson for Despicable Me 3 and David Burrows, Matt Villa and John Venzon for The LEGO Batman Movie.

At the ADG Awards, the trophy went to Coco’s production designer Harley Jessup. Other nominees were William Cone and Jay Shuster for Cars 3, Matthew Button for Loving Vincent, Grant Freckleton for The LEGO Batman Movie and Olivier Adam for Despicable Me 3. The winners were announced Jan. 27 at a gala ceremony in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland in Los Angeles.
