Click 3X Adds Robert Boocheck to Directorial Roster

Click 3X bolsters its directorial roster with the addition of Robert Boocheck.

Click 3X announced the addition of Director Robert Boocheck to its innovative roster of directors, bringing his unique visual comedy style to Click 3X.

Boocheck is known for creating humorous yet visually interesting content, as he’s directed award-winning commercials for brands including Adidas, Ray Ban, ESPN, McDonald’s, Google, G4 TV, Johnnie Walker, Comcast and Toyota. Boocheck is also an accomplished music video director, directing music videos for artists such as Death Cab For Cutie, the Dandy Warhols, Bad Religion, Chromeo and Har Mar Superstar.

“I’ve admired Rob's work for a number of years. He brings a distinctive humor to his projects while still utilizing stunning, fantastical effects,” said Megan Kelly, Executive Producer, Managing Director, Click 3X Live Action. “Rob’s mixture of comedy, performance and visual effects has great synergy with Click’s integrated production approach. I’m tremendously excited about the types of content that we will be able to create with him.”

Boocheck attended Emerson College where he first pursued his love for filmmaking. He then moved across the country to Los Angeles where he had the opportunity to intern for his directing hero, Sam Raimi. Raimi’s stories of his early days inspired Boocheck to form a film making collective called Tomorrow’s Brightest Minds and still influences his directorial style today.

“The future of commercial production is going to be an integrated, one-stop shop process, where you can shoot, do the editing, coloring, visual effects and more, all in one place,” said Boocheck. “This is something Click 3X is already doing and I’m excited to join a company that’s ahead of the curve and has so many resources at their disposal. I’m intrigued by all the exciting and innovative work that Click has been doing recently and look forward to being a part of the team.” uals with CG talking peanut characters.
