Superfad has named Chris Volckmann Executive Producer of the Seattle office. Volckmann has been a senior producer with the company since 2008 and has been instrumental in numerous projects including the recent Sony "Make.Believe" film series, Voila featuring Wyclef Jean and the award-winning Sprint campaign for Goodby, Silverstein and Partners.

"At Superfad we continually challenge ourselves as a creative entity - to extend our reach in a meaningful and compelling way," says Superfad Co-Founder Kevin Batten. "Chris has more than earned a place in that evolution with a view of the future while being passionate about producing great work today."

"In addition to a passion for creativity, we all share an ease of collaboration which makes working at Superfad a true pleasure," comments Volckmann. "With four offices and a wide range of styles and experts in various areas, we can offer all facets of design and production - from live action to stop motion, 3D direction, print and web  -- all of which makes it an incredibly exciting place to be."

This diversity of talent has also lead to trendsetting developments in high-speed photography with the early adoption of the Phantom camera, and current developments in augmented reality and interactive experiences.

Volckmann began his career in the Bay Area working in San Francisco and Los Angeles in the music video scene of the late 1990s. He then moved to New York where commercial production, design and post producing became his focus. There, he freelanced for leading creative companies for eight years including two as senior producer for Charlex. A desire for a less frenetic city experience for his young family lured him back to the West Coast and his producing role at Superfad.

"I love Seattle and everything this city offers," says Volckmann, "so when the opportunity to join Superfad presented itself I knew it would bring together everything I was seeking; quality of life in all aspects."
