Celluloid Dreams for Freak Bros, Bolex Bros., Kirikou, Wallace & Gromit

Celluloid Dreams has inked several animation deals, which includes THE FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS, GRASS ROOTS, KIRIKOU AND THE WILD BEASTS and WALLACE AND GROMIT, reports VARIETY.

Celluloid Dreams will handle international sales on a feature length clay-animation adaptation of cult 1960s comic series THE FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS.

It will also represent GRASS ROOTS: THE MOVIE from Bolex Bros. David Borthwick, who directed Pathe's CGI THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT and THE SECRET ADVENTURES OF TOM THUMB. The film is budgeted at $22.5 million. The film follows a cast of hippie characters who get involved in a government plot to genetically modify cannabis plants and take over the drug market.

Additionally, Celluloid is handling sales on Michel Ocelots KIRIKOU AND THE WILD BEASTS as well as Wallace and Gromit pics THE WRONG TROUSERS, A GRAND DAY OUT, A CLOSE SHAVE and other Aardman titles.

Previously, the distributor handled Sylvain Chomet's Oscar-nominated THE TRIPLETS OF BELLEVILLE.
