Entries must be submitted by February 19, with finalists announced on February 24 and winners revealed on February 28; prizes include a merchandise kit, Yian Kut Ku Plush, and digital code for ‘Monster Hunter Wilds.’
WEBTOON Entertainment and Capcom have teamed for the Monster Hunter Wilds contest, which offers 12 prize packs for exceptional webcomics submissions.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with WEBTOON Entertainment to bring the rich world of Monster Hunter to a new creative format,” said Tak Inoue, Head of Marketing at Capcom, USA. “This contest is an exciting opportunity for fans to showcase their creativity and passion for the Monster Hunter universe, and we can’t wait to see how they reimagine its iconic characters and lore.”
To participate in the Monster Hunter Wilds contest, US-based creators can submit an original webcomic based on one of three prompts inspired by the Monster Hunter universe. Prompts can be found on the WEBTOON Branded Contest profile under the Monster Hunter Webcomic Contest series.
Entries are open now, and must be submitted by February 19; submissions will be evaluated by a team of judges from WEBTOON Entertainment and Capcom. Finalists will be announced on February 24, with winners revealed on February 28.
The Monster Hunter Wilds prize breakdown includes:
- Grand Prize Winner (3): Monster Hunter Wilds merchandise kit, Yian Kut Ku Plush, and digital code for new Monster Hunter Wilds video game, launching on Feb. 28
- Runner Up Winners (9): Yian Kut Ku Plush and digital code for new Monster Hunter Wilds video game, launching on Feb. 28

The Monster Hunter video game franchise debuted with its first game in 2004, and has been adapted across multiple formats, including a feature film, and Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds game.
The Monster Hunter Wilds contest sets the stage for WEBTOON’s Branded Contest program, offering creators new ways to engage with globally recognized brands while showcasing their talent on the platform.
