Deadline for submissions is February 7, 2021 - selected MIFA pitch projects receive unique opportunities with access to and meetings with key players in the animation sector; June 14-19 event will be run both online and in-person.
In 2020, the Annecy Festival and Market (MIFA) met the unique challenges of a global pandemic by creating an online event, uniting 15,500 participants virtually. In 2021, the Festival will celebrate its 60th anniversary with two editions - a gathering of the animation community both in person in Annecy and an online. The event will run June 14-19.
Projects for MIFA Pitches are now being accepted. Submissions are open to authors, directors, and producers who have an animation project in development. The program offers a unique opportunity to selected projects with increased industry visibility and meetings with key players in the sector. Projects also compete for Partner Awards (scholarship, residency, pre-purchase, technical support...).
Projects may be submitted in short film, feature film, tv specials & series and digital experiences. Registration is free and the submission deadline is February 7, 2021. Submit your project HERE.
