The Clip Studio Paint software developer launches an illustration contest to support and encourage artists worldwide; enter by posting work to Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook to enter; submission deadline is January 14, 2021.
With over 10 million copies of Clip Studio Paint reaching creators worldwide, Celsys has committed to supporting and encouraging the work of artists. Their software reaches a wide audience, from digital art beginners to professional comic artists, illustrators, animators, and designers. It is also used in universities and vocational schools.
In keeping with their mission to further illustration and the digital arts, Celsys has announced that submissions are now open for its 26th International Illustration Contest. This year’s theme is “The Best Smile.” Artists can submit their works by posting their entry to Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook with the hashtag #cspcontest26. The submission deadline is January 14, 2021 (Thu) 23:59 GMT. A Grand Prize winner will be awarded 200,000 yen.
Clip Studio Paint is available in seven languages (Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish, and German), with more than 60% of its users outside Japan. In addition to the Windows, macOS, iPad, iPhone, and Galaxy versions, in December 2020, Android and Chromebook versions of Clip Studio Paint were released worldwide, allowing users to create full-scale graphic content on any major device. Work can also be shared with other devices via the cloud, allowing creators to work from anywhere.
