Call for Entries: Annecy 2021 is Now Accepting Submissions

Festival plans celebration of animation both virtually and in Annecy June 14-19, 2021; films and animation projects are now being accepting.

Annecy International Market and Festival took on new life in 2020 with over 15,500 participants checking in on the virtual platform. The festival celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2021 and plans to have the best of both worlds, uniting the online and in-person participants for one gigantic animation party. The festival runs June 14-19, 2021 and will be paying tribute to animation from the African continent, in the context of the Institut français’s Africa2020 Season.

Meanwhile...the countdown has begun! Register now to have your film considered to compete in the Official Selection.           

Films are being accepted in the following categories - deadline for submission is February 15, 2021:

  • Short Films
  • TV Films
  • Commissioned Films
  • Graduation Films
  • Feature Films (deadline for submission is March 15, 2021)
  • VR Works (deadline for submission is April 6, 2021)

  • Animation du Monde (category is open to all formats but reserved to territories where the animation industry is just emerging)
