NYC creative studio designs and animates the network’s bold, colorful look for the new year.
NYC-based creative studio, Bullpen was recently tasked by Cartoon Network to design and animate their entire 2021 broadcast package. The refresh included menu and end pages, lower thirds, bugs, and squeeze credits. The studio took an incredibly diverse range of characters and unified them across a consistent illustration style.
The result – a charming bold set of 2D animated adverts and characters and a new look for 2021. Bullpen directed the project with creative direction by Aaron Kemnitzer. They shared bits and pieces of their favorite moments:
