‘Henchmen: Ill Suited’
Burnaby, BC -- Bron Studios’ animated feature film Henchmen will now be produced in association with Gary Sanchez Productions. GSP’s Adam McKay, Will Ferrell and Chris Henchy are on board as Executive Producers and creative collaborators. Jason Cloth also serves as Executive Producer via his Creative Wealth Media Finance, one of the films main backers. The full-length feature film, directed by Adam Wood, is now in production. The short Henchmen: Ill Suited will premiere at SIGGRAPH 2014, taking place August 10-14 in Vancouver. The short will give the audience a glimpse at the look, feel, and style of the Henchmen feature film, due for release in 2016.
Acclaimed casting director Allison Jones (This is 40, Superbad) is the casting director. Luke Carroll of Bron has joined Bron Managing Director, Aaron L. Gilbert, as a producer. Bron and Gary Sanchez Productions previously teamed up on the Kristen Wiig starring Welcome to Me which will be premiering next month at the Toronto International Film Festival.

In a world of super-villains, evil schemes and global domination… someone has to take out the trash. Welcome to the world of Henchmen, third class. When a fresh-faced new recruit joins the Union of Evil, he is assigned to a motley crew of blue-collar workers led by fallen henchmen Hank. But when “The Kid” accidently steals the super villain’s ultimate weapon, Hank must break his “risk nothing” code to save the boy he’s befriended, even if it means becoming the one thing he has always hated…heroes.
