Universal's Furious 7 raced to a $146.5 million debut at the North American box office and $240.4 million overseas for a massive worldwide launch of $387 million.

The $190 million movie boasts the widest release in Universal's history, playing in 4,004 theaters domestically and on more than 10,500 screens overseas.
