We have an impressive roster of talent that include some of the pioneers in stereoscopic (3D) design. Below is the official press release of the launch of our new services.
(Montreal, Quebec) Boogie Sound Studio now adds visual effects to its list of boutique-style services. Boogie VFX Studio is wholly dedicated to creating high-end digital visual effects and computer animation for the feature film, advertising, and television industries. The studio opened its doors in early September and is located at 308 Place d’Youville in charming Old Montreal.
Boogies Studio is already blazing trails as one of the first studios to offer eye-popping 3-D stereoscopy to its clients in television and advertising. Thanks to a unique set of proprietary tools, the team can create original 3-D content from shooting to finish.
Heading up the new division is accomplished Visual Effects Supervisor Sebastien Dostie. He is joined by Eric Gervais, pioneer in stereoscopic VFX; Philippe Desiront, outstanding Flame artist; Eddy Chan, master CG artist. Together, this talented team combines over 45 years of experience, and have contributed to such projects as: Assassin’s Creed, The Final Destination, Catwoman, Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Wild, Final Destination 3, Fantastic Four, Dragonball Evolution, Stranger Than Fiction, and 300.

This brain trust is lead by founders and digital pioneers Sébastien Dostie, Éric Gervais-Després, Philippe Désiront, and Eddy Chan, who, between them, have more than 45 years of combined experience producing visual effects for the entertainment industry. Some of their credits include: Predators, 300, Assassins Creed, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Final Destination 3 & 4, Fantastic Four, Tarzan, Bon Cop Bad Cop, Coraline and more.
Audio post-production:Boogie Studio mission is to provide a comprehensive solution for the post-production needs of our clients. We offer two fully equipped mixing studios and audio and video transfer services. Boogie Studio beneficiate its human resources: our expertise is leaded by Andres Norambuena, Denis-Éric Pedneault, Martin Boisselle & Frederic Laurier, four senior sound designer & mixers to accommodate a wide variety of projects.
