Cartoon Saloon’s ‘The Breadwinner,’ directed by Nora Twomey, wins audience and jury awards.
Directed by Denis Do, Belgium-Cambodia-France-Luxembourg co-production ‘Funan’ wins Cristal for a Feature Film at Annecy 2018.
Last week’s 42nd Annecy International Animation Film Festival concluded with a historic number of visitors including 11,700 badge-holders, a 17 percent increase over the number of attendees in 2017.
The juries awarded 19 prizes on Saturday, June 16th at the closing ceremony.
Director Denis Do’s Funan received the Cristal for a feature film, while Nienke Deutz’s Bloeistraat 11 won the Cristal for a short film.
