Laeta Kalogridis (BIONIC WOMAN) has been tapped by New Line Cinema to revamp the bloodsucker tale DARKSIDERS, reports VARIETY.
The tale follows an FBI agent who partners with a group of vampires to hunt down an arms trader dealing in biochemical weapons.
Alison Rosenzweig is the producer alongside Media Talent Group's Geyer Kosinski. Tracie Graham is the exec producer. Writers Tom S. Parker and Jim Jennewein originally sold the spec script to New Line in 2001.
Kalogridis' other credits include James Cameron's forthcoming BATTLE ANGEL adaptation, ALEXANDER and PATHFINDER.
