Legendary animator Bill Plympton's award-winning 2D animated film Slide will have two special screenings at the historic School of Visual Arts (SVA) Theatre: November 25 at 7 pm and December 11 at 8 pm.  Tickets are free, but attendees must register with Brown Paper Tickets; registration is first come, first served.

The film will also play at the New York Animation Film Awards on November 28 and the Sacramento International Film Festival on December 13-15.

Slide tells the tale of a mythical cowboy showdown with eco-villains intent on paving over idyllic Sourdough Creek.

Plympton will also host a panel at the Big Apple Holiday Con on November 23 alongside illustrator and graphic novelist Peter Kuper. The creative will have a table at the event for fans to purchase his animation art, books and DVDs.
