Bill Plympton’s ‘The Loneliest Stoplight’ Now on Vimeo

Six-minute short featuring the voice of comedian and actor Patton Oswalt previewed last August at San Diego Comic-Con prior to screening at the 2015 HollyShorts Film Festival.

Indie animation king Bill Plympton has released his latest short film, The Loneliest Stoplight, on Vimeo on Demand.

The six-minute short, which features the voice of comedian and actor Patton Oswalt, previewed last August at San Diego Comic-Con prior to screening at the 2015 HollyShorts Film Festival, where the twice-Oscar nominated Plympton was honored with the Indie Animation Icon Award.

A Rackoff/Hancock Animated Production produced by Adam Rackoff, James Hancock and Wendy Cong Zhao, The Loneliest Stoplight follows the life and times of a neglected stoplight. Art direction is by Francesco Filippini, who also handled compositing chores alongside Chris Anne Lindo and Kristin Kemper. Music is by Mike Dragovic and Maureen McElheron, with sound design by Weston Fonger.
