VARIETY reports that Jessica Biel is in final negotiations to join the cast of A-TEAM. The cast already includes Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and UFC star Quinton "Rampage" Jackson. The trade also confirms last week's rumor that DISTRICT 9 star Sharlto Copley is in talks to play Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock. Biel will play the love interest for Cooper's Faceman character.
Joe Carnahan is the director and Ridley Scott is the producer, along with Jules Daly and series creator Stephen J. Cannell. Written by Skip Woods, the story follows four wrongly convicted vets that become soldiers of fortune.
Shooting will take place in Vancouver this fall.
