Better First Look of Zack Snyder’s Joker Unveiled

The blur has finally been removed from the Snyder Cut villain’s snapshot, revealing a white caked face, blacked out mouth, long dark hair, and a filthy hospital gown.

Zack Snyder’s PR team has finally taken their finger off the blur button! The new look for Joker, who will debut in the upcoming Snyder Cut of Justice League, has remained largely a mystery (with only vague descriptions and a fuzzy teaser image to give us an idea of what to expect) until now. Thankfully, a first look of Jared Leto as the Clown Prince of Crime has been unveiled by Vanity Fair.

What a change! Joker’s tattoos seem to be covered in some very cakey white makeup, if they’re still there at all. With the long dark hair and blacked out mouth, he seems like a vengeful spirit straight out of a Japanese horror tale (or The Grudge). Judging by the long dirty “gown,” our bets are he’s locked up in Arkham Asylum. Unless perhaps, mad scientist lab coats have made a huge come-back in the DCEU universe.

We can’t wait to see this spooktacular reimagining of the classic villain in action. Just one question: how in the heck does he fit into the story? We’ll have to find out with everyone else March 18th on HBO Max.
