TORONTO -- With more than two billion minutes watched and a half a million subscribers on YouTube, Cool School is going to MIPCOM Jr. Driver Digital Holdings, the studio behind the YouTube hit Cool School, has partnered with Bejuba! Entertainment to bring their online content to multiple platforms.
Driver Digital Studios is the creator of the Cool School YouTube channel, home to a number of innovative series including Crafty Carol, a hugely popular DIY show for kids, Storytime with Mrs. Booksy, an inventive take on classic fairy tales where Mrs. Booksy literally jumps into her stories, and the popular super hero series, The Adventures of Drew Pendous and his Mighty Pen Ultimate, about a boy who saves the day with his quick wit and magical pen.
The existing libraries will be offered at MIPCOM Jr. under the Cool School brand, and can either be packaged as a half-hour magazine or as individual series.
“We are excited to bring these wonderfully fun proven winners onto platforms globally, where more kids will be able to enjoy them,” commented Bejuba! president Tatiana Kober.
“We are delighted to be working with Bejuba to bring our programs to new screens as Tatiana and her team have a proven track record of success,” added Driver Digital’s Scott Weitz. “Kids love our fun characters and we are looking forward to bringing our shows to new audiences.”
