Leading Canadian kids specialist acquires global distribution rights for preschool series.
TORONTO & LONDON -- Koko Rose Media and Bejuba! Entertainment are pleased to announce that they have entered a comprehensive global distribution partnership for animated preschool series Deer Little Forest. The deal will see the Canadian kids’ specialist in charge of both TV sales and co-production opportunities worldwide, excluding the UK.

Founder and President of Bejuba!, Kober has an illustrious career that spans the globe at some of the industry’s top companies such as NHK in Japan, and the BBC, Endemol and Egmont in the UK. Vice President of International Distribution Sandrine Pechels de Saint Sardos brings another twenty years of experience at quality companies including Sunbow Entertainment, Sony Wonder, TV-Loonland, Hallmark and Classic Media/ Entertainment Rights.

Deer Little Forest is being developed with BAFTA-winning iconic UK studio King Rollo Films whose many award nominated and winning shows have been broadcast around the world, on networks such as Nickelodeon and the BBC, and include Poppy Cat, Mama Mirabelle, Maisy, Spot and Humf, among others. Scriptwriting is in the hands of top UK writers behind some of the biggest preschool hits of all time: Chris Parker has worked on Peppa Pig, Bob the Builder, Ben & Holly, and Timmy Time, while Sam Dransfield has Poppy Cat, Octonauts, Numtums, Zack and Quack, aspar and Lisa, and Geronimo Stilton on his credits, among others.
Based on a concept by Henrys nominated illustrator Jo Rose, Deer Little Forest tells the story of wild-at-heart Forest Flo and her eclectic mix of charming animal friends as they navigate the kid-relatable challenges that life in the Deer Little Forest can toss up; with a healthy amount of critter-centric comedy and woodland wackiness, and a focus on learning through doing, asking questions, and working together with your friends.
In addition to the TV series Deer Little Forest also boasts a picture book by Award winning Publisher and writer Alison Green, Party in the Deer Little Forest currently under submission with global publishers; licensing agents in 15 territories; a first preschool app for iOS and Android; monthly activity pages in UK preschool magazines; greeting cards licensed around the world, and more.
Deer Little Forest will be presented for the first time at Kidscreen and MIP-TV.
