Fox's dramatic thriller MAX PAYNE has added Beau Bridges to the cast as B.B. Hensley, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
MAX PAYNE is based on a popular Rockstar video game; Bridges will play a former cop and mentor to Payne, helping him track down a ruthless killer.
Principal photography has been underway in Toronto since March 3, directed by John Moore from a Beau Thorne script.
Mark Wahlberg is Payne, a maverick cop tracking down his family's killer and Mila Kunis is playing an assassin who teams up with Payne.
Producers are Julie Silverman and Scott Faye. Executive producer is Tom Karnowski.
Bridges plays Carl Hickey, father of Jason Lee's Earl Hickey on NBC's MY NAME IS EARL, and was nominated for an Emmy for guest actor last year for that role.
He also has a regular role on STARGATE: SG-1 on the Sci Fi Channel.
