From Warner Bros. Animation and DC, the first ever CG-animated Batman action-adventure comedy series developed for preschoolers is now available to stream in all key EMEA markets.

Warner Bros. Animation and DC’s Batwheels, the first animated Batman action-adventure comedy series developed for preschoolers, is now available to stream on Netflix in all key EMEA markets.

“The airing on Netflix is a huge step forward for this young and incredibly exciting IP and is an integral part of our strategy plan to ensure that the show is available wherever the fans are.” says Philippe Roucoule, SVP, EMEA Consumer Products, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.  “An entirely fresh take on a property of such excellent heritage, Batwheels combines two of the things that children love most – vehicles and Super Heroes – providing endless inspiration for partners across all major categories.”

Batwheels follows a group of sentient super-powered crime-fighting vehicles, who defend Gotham City alongside a host of DC Super Heroes. Brought to life by the Batcomputer, the heroic Batwheels are thrust into hilarious hijinks and jaw-dropping action while learning important life lessons. Led by Bam, the Batmobile, they must navigate the challenges of being a newly formed super team as well as the growing pains that come with just being a kid.

The all-star voice cast includes Ethan Hawke as Batman; Jacob Bertrand as Bam the Batmobile; Gina Rodriguez as Catwoman; and Xolo Maridueña as Snowy the Snowcrawler, among others. Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) executive produces alongside co-executive producer Michael G. Stern (Doc McStuffins). Simon J. Smith (Penguins of Madagascar) acts as supervising producer, with Steven Fink of Bang Zoom Ltd. producing. Based on characters from DC, Batwheels is produced by Warner Bros. Animation.

Batwheels originally premiered on Cartoon Network and also streamed on Max. Superprod Studio and Snowball Studios provide animation services. The series is currently in its second season.
