London, UK -- Fox International’s BabyTV channel has concluded new programme sales agreements and contract renewals for its large catalogue of unique original programming for young children in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Pixel TV (Ukraine) has become the latest addition to BabyTV’s growing number of international broadcasters after acquiring a package of BabyTV shows for its free-to-air television channel. The package includes some of BabyTV’s most popular shows such as Charlie & The Numbers, Cuddlies, Draco, Hungry Henry, Oliver and Tulli.

In addition BabyTV has renewed its broadcast agreements and refreshed content packages for daily branded programme blocks with English language learning channel JCTV (Korea), Yoyo TV (Taiwan), VTV3 (Vietnam) and the Fox channel (Middle East).

Meanwhile children travelling on Qatar Airways will be able to enjoy more BabyTV video-on-demand programming on the airline’s inflight entertainment system after the parties agreed an extension of their inflight programme license.

“We own all the content that is aired on our BabyTV channel and can offer flexible packaging solutions to broadcasters around the world“ said Ralf Kies, Director Global Licensing & Merchandising at BabyTV, “our original programming is therefore an attractive proposition for pay and free-to-air channels and non-linear platforms”.
