Atlantyca Launching ‘Jurassic Cubs’ on Global Tour

Atlantyca to launch initial sales of newly-acquired dinosaur series co-produced by Rai Fiction and Animundi Studios at ATF 2015.

Milan-based Atlantyca Entertainment has secured the exclusive distribution rights to Animundi Studio’s adorable dinosaur animated series, Jurassic Cubs, for all of Europe, North America and Asia Pacific. A co-production of Rai Fiction and Animundi Studios, Atlantyca’s distribution arm will launch its initial sales of the series at this year’s Asia TV Forum & Market in December.

Jurassic Cubs (91 x 13 minutes) follows the adventures of dinosaur cubs Saro, Bronto, Stego, Ranu and Nunzy, five pals who magically travel through ages of time on board magical meteorites creating worldly adventures. Each episode features new animal and human characters and events creating valuable growth opportunities for the five best friends.

In addition, Atlantyca is offering this year’s Asian broadcast buyers a look at the first fully completed episodes of the new animated spooky adventure-comedy series, Bat Pat.

Bat Pat is a spooky animated adventure-comedy that proves the supernatural isn’t always evil -- just misunderstood. Living in the town of Fogville, the quirky and ever-so-slightly feared Bat Pat and his three best friends -- “Silver siblings” Rebecca, Leo and Martin -- are joined by a range of lovable creepy characters to unravel the fun mysteries of the scary creatures that lurk about. Balancing comedy and action, the series is a spooky sitcom that maintains the fast-paced quirky character humor of a traditional comedy mixed up with some unexpected adventures. The series is co-produced with Imira Entertainment and Mondo Studio with the participation of Rai Fiction and RTVE.

Atlantyca Entertainment sales director Pedro Citaristi negotiated the deal and will take the series to ATF along with the company’s additional slate of kid’s properties, which includes Geronimo Stilton, The New Adventures of Geronimo Stilton, The Fixies, Taka & Maka, Nutri Ventures and Bolts and Blip.
