Design company sends an owl soaring through Central Park in ‘Magical Menagerie,’ using wintery 2D and 3D animation to showcase the park’s iconic statues as well as the brand’s latest collection.
Creative design company, The-Artery, has created another animated holiday campaign, Magical Menagerie for David Yurman. The spot comes on the heels of last year’s award-winning Star Dreaming campaign that followed the DY Holiday Express train through the stars. Last year’s campaign earned the design company a Telly Award for excellence in video production.
The animated wintery spot begins with the narrative “On a magical night in Central Park…” then combines 2D and 3D animation to continue the celebration of Yurman’s classic “My New York” theme. This time the viewer follows a snowy owl, representing the spirit of imagination, soaring through Central Park, and breathing life into its famous statues - all while showing off the brand’s new 2021 holiday collection. Magical Menagerie showcases these icons of Central Park, which serves as the cornerstone of the campaign’s creative expression.
In addition to the video creation, the brand also unveiled its award-winning store window displays at its 57th Street flagship and SoHo locations, featuring the same statues found in Central Park.
