Press Release from Anonymous Content

Anonymous Content has added yet another standout director to their lineup with the addition of CG specialist Trevor Cawood. The Emmy-nominated Cawood, whose work runs the gamut from TV to advertising to feature films will specialize in the ad and integrated spaces for Anonymous, building upon notable work for brands such as Citroen, GMC and Verizon to name a few.

"Trevor is one of those guys you snatch up as soon as you see he's available," noted Anonymous Content EP/Head of Commercials Dave Morrison. "With his background in VFX, his understanding of every stage of production, and his experience directing in all genres, Trevor brings the experience and skill to streamline the production process and deliver the best product no matter what the budget."

Outside of advertising, his film directorial debut, Terminus, premiered and won an award at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival and earned first place at Fantastic Fest, HollyShorts, Sonoma International Film Festival, and the Montréal Just For Laughs festival. Cawood's feature film work includes technical director credits on The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions.

Cawood's accolades also include multiple Emmy nominations, CLIO awards, a D&AD award, and recognition from Creativity magazine (Directors to Watch 2008).

In addition to his duties with Anonymous, Cawood is a partner at his own visual effects studio, The Embassy, whose artists recently worked on the Oscar-nominated visual effects for District 9, Iron Man, as well as the upcoming Iron Man 2. Cawood is represented in Canada and some regions in Europe for directing work through Spy Films. Prior to joining Anonymous, Cawood helmed via Biscuit Filmworks.
