Animal Logic has been picked as the lead animation and visual effects house on the BBC's WALKING WITH DINOSAURS 3D, based on the popular TV series and stage show, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Animal Logic has been picked as the lead animation and visual effects house on the BBC's WALKING WITH DINOSAURS 3D, based on the popular TV series and stage show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Evergreen's Pierre De Lespinois and BBC Earth's Neil Nightingale are directing.
Evergreen Films and BBC Earth are producing the 3-D feature, which has a budget of $64 million. The production is receiving funding from the New South Wales Film Fund. It is projected that the film will create 140 jobs in the area.
DINOSAURS is set to hit theaters in 2013.
The NSW Film Fund has also contributed money to Fuel FX for its work on Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS, as well as Marvel's THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER.
