Ameba TV and Nelvana Sign SVOD Licensing Deal

Favorite shows like ‘Class Of Titans,’ ‘Di-Gata Defenders’ and ‘Redwall’ part of 59-title library that will begin streaming immediately on kids’ subscription-based platform.

WINNEPEG, CANADA -- Ameba TV, an independent subscription based streaming service specializing in children’s programming, has announced an agreement with Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana to begin streaming a variety of the studio’s popular childrens’ content on their kids’ entertainment platform.

Adding to Ameba TV’s ever-growing content library, a selection of 59 titles have been secured from Nelvana’s expansive collection of award-winning kids’ content. Beginning immediately, viewers can access top Nelvana titles that including: 6Teen, Anatole, Babar, Babar and the Adventures of Badou, Being Ian, Blazing Dragons, Birdz, Braceface, Class of Titans, Di-Gata Defenders and Redwall.

Additional titles will soon be available, including a mixture of series and movies: Babar: The Movie, Brace Face, Donkey Kong Country, Elliot Moose, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Maurice Sendak's Little Bear, Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends, Pecola, and Pippi Longstocking.

Ameba TV has over 6,500 videos in its catalog, comprising over 1,300 hours of quality children’s programming from over 200 content providers around the world.

The streaming platform can be found on thousands of consumer devices including smart TV, connected TV streamers, computer, tablets and smart phones. Its current line-up of platform partners includes: Amazon Prime Channels, XBOX 360, Roku, LG Smart TV, Sony, Amazon Fire, TiVO, Opera.
