Krow VFX, Torpedo Pictures, and Tryptyc combine strengths and talent rosters to offer concept-to-post-production services with an emphasis on philanthropy.
Ontario-based visual effects studios, Krow VFX, Torpedo Pictures, and Tryptyc have launched Ticket VFX, a strategic collaboration leveraging the trio’s strengths and talent rosters. Through the new studio, the group aims to increase the size of projects handled, with a nod towards philanthropy. Services range from concept to post-production and will be delivered via a state-of-the-art VFX pipeline.
“Having our three VFX studios join forces provides an instant, larger pool of excellent talent while reducing overall expenses,” said Ticket VFX/Tryptyc co-founder Leo Bovell. “Most notable is the exciting brain-meld of a rich team of VFX wizards who together innovate, create, and problem-solve giving us an important competitive edge in this current challenging and changing VFX landscape. Also, combining our talents in a flexible hybrid/remote setting and merging our pipelines positions us to create stunning, seamless VFX for larger projects while still allowing us to remain extremely nimble with the ability to expand and contract as needed.”
Collectively, the studios boast over 50+ credits in film and television. In addition, its talent includes multiple VFX supervisors and on-set VFX supervisors representing 60+ years of combined VFX leadership experience.
