Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Aero Theatre with a rare theatrical screening of Disney’s ‘Fantasia’ on Friday, January 30.
Join the celebration of the Aero Theatre's 75th Anniversary with a screening of Disney's 1940 film Fantasia.
This rare theatrical screening will be preceded by an illustrated introduction by David Pacheco, a veteran Disney Creative Director and former Disney animator, who will share some fascinating Fantasia "making of" facts, never-before-seen images from the Disney archive and a lovely redhead "Centaurette" display model from his personal collection.
The fundraiser event will also include 1940s newsreels, popcorn in vintage bags for a vintage price, photo opportunities in the original Aero Theatre box office kiosk, and other vintage movie theatre goodies available for purchase.
Several drawing prizes with a collective value of $3,000 will also be available, including Disney prints and posters, tickets to a ride in a 1942 airplane, museum tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and more.
The evening will end with a Piper-Heidsieck Champagne toast and other treats, as well as the opportunity to purchase the limited edition Aero Theatre 75th Anniversary t-shirt.
