Aliens exist and they have commandeered Adult Swim Canada! Starting Monday, May 22, Canadians will get an exclusive early preview of the new adult animated series, Psi Cops, with a special multi-platform release available on the Global TV App STACKTV, STACKTV's YouTube, and STACKTV's TikTok. The series officially premieres Sunday, June 4 at 12:30 a.m. ET/PT on Adult Swim, and streams live and on demand with STACKTV. As a bonus, following the Sunday premiere, viewers can catch Episodes 1 and 2 for free on the Global TV App for a limited time.
The animated comedy series, commissioned by Corus Entertainment and produced by Wind Sun Sky Entertainment and Oddfellows Labs, follows unjustifiably bold and unnecessarily creative detectives Kydd (Chris Nielsen) and Felixx (Bart Batchelor), paranormal investigators at Psi Cops, a secret agency crammed into a shady office complex and helmed by true believer, Chief Beef. Alongside a rag-tag group of “experts,” each week Kydd and Felixx venture out in the field as they investigate alleged sightings of aliens, ghosts, demons, and other hocus-pocus nonsense.
In the exclusive early preview, viewers will see a sneak peek of the first episode, “Alien Autopsy,” where Kydd and Felixx kill an alien and bring him back to the Psi Cops HQ for Shirls to dissect. They then realize that it might have been just a regular old man. Scared of potential repercussions, they make several attempts at sabotaging Shirls’ investigation.
