New facility homes engineering and support team to provide professional-level support for Hollywood editors and other post-production-professionals.
Adobe has opened its doors on a brand-new facility that will be the home of a dedicated team committed to providing professional-level support for post-production demands of the Hollywood entertainment industry. Culver City is already home to Magento Commerce, recently acquired by Adobe and expected to close later this year.
The new office space, located in downtown Santa Monica, features a state-of-the-art editing suite, which will offer video professionals a place to experiment, learn and connect with Adobe’s Hollywood team. The facility is dedicated to delivering tools directly into the hands of the editor, gathering feedback on how to make these tools even more seamless.
In May, Adobe kicked off its new Customer Advisory Board, bringing together a consortium of top editors and post specialists to provide ongoing feedback about what they require in their workflow tools. Apps like Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC and Audition CC have evolved exponentially thanks to direct input from editors, directors, post-production supervisors and assistants; this new space aims to push the envelope even further.
“Our mission is to give editors the tools that can help bring their artistic vision to life,” said Steve Warner, vice president of digital and audio at Adobe. “What better way to meet that goal than to talk to the professionals who are creating cutting-edge entertainment every day. We take feedback to heart and are excited to create a dedicated Adobe home in Los Angeles, where we can work side-by-side with the post-production community and better support each other.”
For those who can’t visit in person, Adobe users can still access tutorials, customer testimonials, and interviews on the Inside Hollywood’s Cutting Rooms playlist on the Adobe Creative Cloud YouTube channel.
