//ADAPT 2007 Conference Draws Renowned Studios and Artists

Digital 04 Studios announced the official launch of the //ADAPT 2007 Conference website and a preview to the program outline for the event, taking place at the Hyatt Regency Montreal, on Sept. 24-28. This event will host local and world-renowned studios under one roof alongside 40 artists and hundreds of attendees from all corners of the globe.

The starting line up will feature Double Negative, DreamWorks Animation SKG, Pixar Animation Studios, Rhythm & Hues, Walt Disney Animation Studios and many more to soon be announced. Also returning are legendary artists Syd Mead, Iain McCaig and Mark Goerner.

The core of the //ADAPT 2007 Conference is based on 2D and 3D MASTER classes designed for intermediate to advanced digital artists. Classes will cover concept art, digital matte painting, modeling, rigging to animation techniques and much more. Students and individuals with the aspiration to grow into this industry will benefit from attending the Exploration class and the bonus 2D/3D Plus Classes. Tickets to this event range form $75 for a One-day pass up to $749 for a Full Conference pass and may now be purchased online at www.adaptmontreal.com.

In addition to the key learning experience, this event will be the launch of a first of its kind, //ADAPT ART EXPO, featuring artwork by world leading independent artists and studios. The //ADAPT THEATER, will present a wide compilation of animated shorts, films, game cinematics, commercials and music videos from all around the world.

Attendees and industry professionals alike will be treated to many networking opportunities through the unique Job Fair and social activities.
