9 Story Entertainment Signs New Licensing Deals Across Asia

9 Story Entertainment signs new licensing deals for Camp Lakebottom, Artzooka, and Making Stuff throughout Asia.

9 Story Entertainment, a leading producer and distributor of quality children’s entertainment content, has signed several licenses across Asia coming out of this month’s Asia Television Forum.

Disney Channel Hong Kong and Disney Channel Taiwan have acquired the animated comedy Camp Lakebottom (26 x 22’), while Sun Media (India) has licensed the first two seasons of the art-based series Artzooka! (46 x 22’).  TV3 Thailand picked up Seasons 1 and 2 of the edutainment focused Making Stuff (104 x 5’), which was also acquired by Zee Learn (India) with an exclusive for the Indian Subcontinent.

Camp Lakebottom is an animated comedy that follows 12-year-old prankster McGee, who was headed for an awesome summer at Camp Sunny Smiles when his bus took a wrong turn and landed him at old, run down and ridiculously spooky Camp Lakebottom! McGee soon discovers though that Lakebottom is not just your average camp; it’s the best camp ever! That is, if you’re into surfing “killer” waves, eating french flies at lunch and having monsters as counselors. It may seem scary, but McGee and his pals are having a blast and will do anything to protect Lakebottom from his nemesis Buttsquat at the snooty camp across the lake, Camp Sunny Smiles.

Artzooka! blends live action and animation to show kids that art is everywhere and that there is an artists in each one of them! Artzooka! Provides audiences with traditional techniques in unconventional ways and teaches children to draw outside the lines and create their own masterpieces. The works created represent a broad spectrum of art including digital movies, silk-screened t-shirts and lamps made from oranges!

Making Stuff follows the adventures of two animated hosts, Wiz and his pal Gears, who show young viewers how actual objects they encounter every day are made. The series is shot in HD in real factories, food plants and wherever items such as gelato, chocolate, teddy bears, kayaks, jigsaw puzzles and model trains are made.
