4Kids Unveils Newest Chaotic Series at MIPCOM

NEW YORK (September 17, 2009) – 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:KDE) will present the newest chapter of its popular fantasy adventure series, CHAOTIC: SECRETS OF THE LOST CITY, to international broadcasters at MIPCOM next month.  The series’ new season, produced in HD and traditional cel animation by 4Kids Entertainment, will take audiences to an exciting new level within the CHAOTIC game experience.  Twelve new half-hour episodes will be available beginning in September 2009, bringing the series to a total of 78 episodes in the CHAOTIC saga.

CHAOTIC has caught on across North America, with the TV series airing up to ten times a week in both the U.S. on Cartoon Network, Disney XD and TheCW4Kids, and across Canada on TELETOON.  The brand has also captured the attention of kids worldwide, with the program currently broadcast on Gulli TV (France), RTL2 (Germany), Disney XD UK, Rede TV (Brazil), RTBF (Belgium), SIC (Portugal), MNet (South Africa), TEN Network (Australia), ABS-CBN (Philippines), Kids Central (Singapore), Canal+ Cyfrowy (Poland), Children’s Channel (Israel) and Digiturk (Turkey) among others.

The international rollout comes as CHAOTIC: SECRETS OF THE LOST CITY has just been acquired by Cartoon Network in the U.S. and by TELETOON in Canada for the 2009-10 television season.

Viewers will brace for a slew of shocking secrets and radical revelations as CHAOTIC returns with an all-new action pack of adventure, with more awesome Creatures and incredible BattleGear than ever before in SECRETS OF THE LOST CITY. As Perim’s tenuous tribal alliance is shattered, a startling discovery leads to the most momentous event in CHAOTIC history.  And while CHAOTIC’s mightiest warriors clash over the power of time itself, one burning question remains:  who will uncover – and ultimately master -- the Secrets of the Lost City?
