3DBOXX Used on The Kennedy Assassination—Beyond Conspiracy

For ABCs PETER JENNINGS REPORTING: THE KENNEDY ASSASSINATIONBEYOND CONSPIRACY, the 3D animation was created by Dale K. Myers, an Emmy-winning animator and author, with a BOXX 3DBOXX workstation, running Newteks LightWave 3D software. The workstation contained dual Intel Xeon 3.06 processors, 4GB RAM and a 3Dlabs Wildcat 4 7210 graphics board. Myers, an expert on the Kennedy assassination, used the infamous Zapruder film along with medical evidence and other physical evidence to create the forensic animation for the ABC special, which airs Nov. 20, 2003 at 9:00 pm.

Myers said, I was under an extremely tight deadline to get this animation finished and my 3DBOXX was a life saver. I had other machines that were breaking down on me left and right, but I knew I could rely on my BOXX. It worked beautifully throughout the entire project.

Rick Krause, president/ceo of BOXX, added, BOXX is pleased to be powering the forensic animation of the JFK assassination that Dale Myers has recreated we anticipate it will add a new perspective to a tragic moment in our nations history. Powerful hardware is a vital component in all types of animation from forensic to entertainment and 3DBOXX proves once again to be the underlying force in animation history.
