Come have a sneak peek at the new 3D Studio Max 3.0 at Santa Monica, California based DH Institute of Media Arts. The event will take place on May 6, 1999, from 7 to 9 pm. Hosts are Eric Pinkel and Dave Campbell of Discreet/Kinetix. The event is free, but you need to RSVP at (310) 899-9377.
Spring semester starts next week at Dhima. Evening and week-end sessions include: Advanced/Organic Modeling; 3D Studio Max; Houdini; Fundamentals of Compositing; and PowerAnimator/Maya. New 5 week session classes are: Unix for CG Production; MEL; Amazon 3D Paint; and Piranha with Amazon Paint. AIA Westside (Associates In Art Westside) offers 11 week classes on Figure Drawing; Head Drawing; Figure Quick Sketch; Figure Invention; 3D Character Design/Fantasy Sculpture; and Storyboarding.
