3D Festival Awards 'Nemo' & 'King' Top Honors

The 2004 edition of the 3D Awards names 'Finding Nemo' the best 3D animated feature film; 'The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King' is crowned with the prize for best feature film visual effects.

3D Awards 2004, held at the 3D Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, has announced its winners and FINDING NEMO and THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING have continued their winning streaks at awards ceremonies around the globe. NEMO nabbed best 3D animated feature film with KING being crowned with the best feature film visual effects prize. In the short category, Studio AKA's JO JO IN THE STARS beat out bigger studio shorts ROCKFISH (Blur Studio) and EARLY BLOOMER (Sony Pictures Imageworks).
