Mentors Wanted! Workforce LA, a non-profit organization serving Los Angeles schools, is looking for volunteer mentors to coach high school students at its Animation Boot Camp in August, 1998. Fifty teenagers from the L.A. area, many of whom are from at-risk environments and in danger of dropping out, need your encouragement and expertise! Needed for two to four hour assignments are a director, character animator, composer, sound effects designer, in-betweener, clean-up artist and AVID editor.
