Michael Wright Digital Art Exhibition At DHIMA

DHIMA (DH Institute of Media Arts) is presenting an exhibition of paintings by pioneer digital artist Michael Wright. There is also a reception on Saturday, April 28. Wright is a painter who began to explore digital media in the mid-1980s on an Amiga computer. He exhibited his first digital print in 1989 and continues to work in both traditional and electronic mediums. He has exhibited his digital work and traditional works on a national level. Shrek’s Coming To Your Local Shopping Cart

On April 16, 2001, DreamWorks Consumer Products and The Kroger Co. announced a joint promotion that allows supermarket shoppers to earn free movie tickets to the upcoming computer-animated feature SHREK based on their grocery purchases during a four-week period beginning this week. The four-week promotion is scheduled for more than 2,000 Kroger-owned stores nationwide. Customers who purchase $300 in groceries using their shopper's card will earn two free tickets to SHREK, which opens May 18 in theaters around the country.
