From GKIDS and Fathom Events, French 3D-animated feature Mune: Guardian of the Moon arrives in U.S. theaters for one day only on Saturday, August 12!
A fantastical animated adventure from the producers of The Little Prince, Mune: Guardian of the Moon will be in movie theaters nationwide for one day only on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 12:55 p.m. local time. The French-produced film is being released in a new English language version featuring Rob Lowe (Sohone), Christian Slater (Leyoon), Patton Oswalt (Mox), Ed Helms (Spleen) and Jeff Dunham (Phospho).

Directed by Alexandre Heboyan and Benoît Philippon, Mune: Guardian of the Moon was produced by ON Entertainment, the French prodco behind the 2016 animated feature The Little Prince, with animation provided by Mikros Image. The CG-animated feature follows Mune, a mischievous faun who is chosen to be the Guardian of the Moon: the one who brings about the night and watches over our dreams. But catastrophes occur and the underworld demon steals the Sun. With the help of Sohone, proud Guardian of the Sun, and fragile Glim, Mune embarks on an extraordinary quest that will make him a legendary guardian.
