Art director Justin Wagner and associate art director Chi Duong Sato share an extensive board sequence, vehicle designs, environment design-to-final sequences, and final sequence images from the all-new, action-packed, martini-in-hand Season 12 of Adam Reed and FXX’s hit animated comedy series.
FXX is the place to be for a brand-new season of good old fashion, dysfunctional, sexually charged, and often drunkenly performed globe-trotting spy missions of the animated kind; Season 12 of Adam Reed’s hit comedy, Archer, debuted this past Wednesday, and the mysterious, action-packed world of the show’s spycrafting tomfoolery has never looked better.
A new season means new missions, new characters, new sets, new props and a completely new narrative. The bickering, and drinking, alas, thankfully stays the same.
Like they have in previous years, Art Director Justin Wagner and Associate Art Direct Chi Duong Sato have provided AWN a wonderful set of storyboards, vehicle designs, environment design-to-final sequences, and final sequence images from this season’s inaugural episode.
Don't forget to read Wagner and Duong's breakdown of Season 12 design efforts in AWN's companion piece, You Had Me at ‘LANA!’: ‘Archer’ Season 12 Premieres on FXX.
We hope you enjoy!
