These books are really great!

Frank and Olli's book, The

Frank and Olli's book, The Illusion of Life, has been a game-changer for me. In fact, I even used
it for an animation essay I penned a while back. Alongside this, I dug into some other great
works by renowned animation experts and an online resource with some top-notch free essay
examples, so you can get info here, if you're curious.
Oh, and I also can highlight The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams and Character
Animation Crash Course! by Eric Goldberg. These gems were once suggested to me by my
mentor, and they've been my go-to resources for studying animation.
