Are kids still interested in 2D animations videos ? Do i have to learn 3D ??

I actually make 2D animation videos for kids in my youtube channel : Children's Tv Funny  

And i would like to know if childrens still like this kind of animation or do i have absolutely learn the 3D animation and modeling ?? wich is so complicated !!!!
