I have tried to recreate an effect from the amazing and most popular game Overwatch. Its the explosion from a character named Junkrat's weapon Frag Launcher. Its stylized. I have recreated it in realtime software tool so ofcourse there isn't any background atmosphere and rendering out there. There were 18 components employed in this effect and timing was very critical as most emitter layers were short lived. Here is the effect video.
